Tactical First Aid (TFA)

These courses are based upon the medical doctrine Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3).
The Committee for TECC used the military battlefield guidelines as an evidenced based starting point in the development of civilian specific medical guidelines for high threat operations.

TFA (Tactical First Aid) Basic Course :

Two day course
The aim is to provide the operator medical skills to save a wounded in action
To participate first-aid medical skills are needed

 

TFA Advanced Course :

Two day course
The aim is to provide the operator all medical knowledge how to treat a wounded in action during his mission
To participate the basic level TFA is needed
The TFA Advance course is a plus value for a TFA Trainer
Minimum: 6 participants

 

TFA Trainer Course :

Five day course
The aim is to provide an operator all skills to teach TFA principals within his team
To participate, the basic level TFA is needed
Minimum: 6 participants
